The Island Classic
June 12-16, 2024The Island Classic is slated to bring forth a youth basketball tournament where teams come from all over the world to showcase their talent from ages 9u-17u Boys & Girls. The goal is to bring exposure in terms of culture , style of play and much more to the island. This event will take place in Nassau, Bahamas June 12-16, 2024 and will bring in over 700+ people for games & tourism.

Cancellation Policy
Non-refundable $100 deposit to secure your travel. All payments after the deposit is refundable if we are unable to move forward with this event due to the pandemic.

Whether you choose to pay the entire cost up front or with flexible monthly payment plans, you’ll find registration to be easy. We will walk you through every step!
Step 1: Choose your departure city.
Step 2: Deposit. ONLY $100 per person is due at time of booking.
Step 3: Start Passport Assistance (see below for more information)
Step 4: Keep track of date for monthly payments.
On the monthly payment plan, you are responsible for making payments on your assigned due date until final payment has been received.
Once you register your team for The Island Classic, a member of The Island Classic staff will provide next steps to begin the process of booking your travel accommodation’s.

How much is the team entry fee?
Registration is $400 per team (multi-team discounts). Please contact director to register.
How many games are guaranteed?
There is a 4 game guarantee.
What days are the games played?
Thursday – Saturday June 13-15, 2023.
Do all teams need to arrive on Wednesday June 12, 2024 even though games are not played until Thursday June 13th?
Yes. There will be a mandatory team check in on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
Will warm up basketballs and game balls be provided?
Yes, warm up basketballs and game balls are provided.
Will transportation be provided?
Shuttle passes for spectators(parents/friends/family) to and from the airport as well as to and from games can be purchased on the website for $60 per person.
*Players and coaches pass to and from the games will be included in team entry fees. (No need to purchase separately).
**Please Note the players and coaches are responsible for purchasing their own Airport Transfer to and from Airport online for $30 per person.
Please remember EVERYONE NEEDS a passport. Due to this being an international event there will only be 20 American Teams participating, so space is limited.
